PLAYING INTO THE ENEMY'S
HANDS
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —The British nation is facing a grave crisis and is needing every British subject's wholehearted moral support. We are hoping that now the Germans are suffering reverses the morale of the people will break so that they will turn against their leaders and country and so collapse. We are suffering reverses now, and are not some people doing exactly what we want the Germans to do—turning against our leaders, criticising all they do, not believing in our 'own country, thinking that we are not being told the truth, passing scathing remarks about the 8.8.C., and generally letting our own country down when she needs us most? After air we are British subjects no matter what our political, religious, or other views are. The enemies are doing their best to poison our minds against our own country and we are playing into their hands with our distrust and lack cf faith in our leaders. Let all of us unite under our leaders, thus giving them added strength to carry out their difficult task, and we will be well on the way to winning the war.—l am, etc.,
HOPEFUL.
