CARS ARE NEEDED
TRANSPORT FOR E.P.S.
When approached regarding the poor response to the appea] for motor-cars for E.P.S. purposes, J,he District Motor Vehicle Controller, Mr. E. E. ?Magee, today expressed surprise that responsible citizens, owning mutoi*' cars, do not realise the important part transport takes in any emergency.
The position, he said, is that the E.P.S. authorities require the service of the owner and the car as a unit Wherever possible. The alternative is that a "Notice of Intention to Use" may be served on the owner and a driver provided from the personnel of the E.P.S.
