INTER-HOUSE GIRLS
This year's programme for the Wellington Inter-house Girls' Association began in the Oddfellows' Hall one night last week with an entertainment arranged by Physical Welfare Officers of the Department of Internal Affairs. Moving pictures were shown to an audience of over one hundred and these films portrayed the arrangements now being made in Britain for the welfare of industrial workers, provision for recreation, the work of women to release, men for active service, and other interesting films depicting all forms of dancing and physical fitness. Following these films, concert parties from the various factories gave items, with community singing and supper concluding the programme.
