MARRIED IN U.S.A.
PETONE FLEET AIR ARM MAN
An interesting wedding was solemnised in America towards the end of last year, when a Petone man, WilliSm Edney, who is training in the Fleet Air-Arm, was married tq Mary Georgia Culleh, of River Range, Detroit, U.S.A., at River Range. The New Zealander was the first member of the British Fleet Air Arm .in training in the United States to be married there. He was then a nayal aviation cadet at Grosse He Naval Aviation Base, having completed courses, in England and Canada.
His bride had four attendants. Her gown was of shimmering satin, and theirs were of taffeta, one in. pink and the others in blue. The best man and the ushers, all New Zealanders, and all in naval uniform, were Frank Flannigan, William Kerr, Gavin Waite, and Ted Gilbert. Ten men from the naval base formed a guard of honour.
In December the bride and bridegroom left for Pensacola, Florida.
Butter and any sauce containing egg should never boil, but just come to a cream and then should at once be removed from the fire.

One of the new turbans is in white pique, cleverly cut so that- it can be unwrapped for trips to the laundry.
