JAPAN CELEBRATES
SINGAPORE VICTORY
(Rec. 2.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 18.
Tokio radio : states-that the Domei news agency' reported that the Japanese land and sea forpes have completed the occupation of Singapore. Meanwhile, 150,000 people participated in a celebration of the victory in Tokio, and heard the Premier, General Tojo, state over the radio! "The capture of Singapore signifies the birth of a new Asia and a turning point in world history."
