THAILAND INVADED

(Rec. 11.30 a.m.). NEW YORK, February 18. All India Radio reports that the Chinese have invaded Thailand. The Chinese are said to be fighting towards Chiengmai.
A heavy force of R.A.F. bombers, escorted by Hurricanes, raided Chiengmai, where Japanese parachutists and 1500 airborne Thai troops were concentrated for a drive into Central Burma.
