ACCIDENTS
Mrs. E. Gruar, Main Road, Upper Hutt, fractured her right thigh in a fall this morning. ' './
Miss F. Humphrey, Main. Road, Johnsonville, suffered bruises to . her left hip and both legs, and abrasions, when she was knocked down by a motor-car in Jervois Quay at 8.35 a.m. today.
Both the injured persons were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
Volunteers are to work as auxiliary conductors on Leeds buses arid trams to speed up rush-hour transport, working on their own regular routes.
