ENEMY ALIENS
Camp at Pahiatua
(0.C.) MASTERTON, This Day. Steps are being taken to establish internment camps at Pahiatua for enemy aliens. Statements to this effect were made by two members of the Wairarapa Hospital Board at its meeting yesterday. It was stated that international law required internees to be accommodated in areas not likely to be attacked by the enemy. The internees to be brought to Pahiatua, where they will be accommodated on the show grounds and racecourse, would come from Wellington and Auckland, it was said.
