E.P.S. SERVICE BY MEN CALLED UP
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Would you kindly clarify the position regarding the E.P.S. registrations? Is it compulsory for a man called in the last ballot to register? According to Mr. Semple's statement in your paper, a mail called in the ballot automatically becorhes a mem 4 ber of the armed forces 24 hours, after the publication of the Gazette. If that is so, it would not be necessary to register till after the medical eXamiriai tion result is known. —I am, etc., MAC'S JIMMY. . [The mari is liable for enrolment until such time., as he is passed as fit and posted to' the Territorial Force, but he should indicate on his enrolment form that he has been called for military service.!
