PETROL FOR E.P.S.
NO DECISION YET
Conferences were held yesterday at Parliament House to deal ; with the question of the provision of petrol for E.P.S. vehicles. Certain detailed matters were left in the hands of a subcommittee, the members of which were to meet the Minister of National Service (Mr. Semple) again this afternoon.
The Mayor (Mr. T. C. A. Hislop) said last night he was confident "that as a result of the discussions petrol would be made available for cars engaged in E.P.S. service.
