"VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a ■-LV Special Meeting of the Hutt County Council held on December 19, 1941, the following Resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held on Friday, January 23, 1942, at 2.25 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Bowen House, Bowen Street, Wellington:— RESOLUTION. That pursuant to the powers of "The Counties' Act, 1920," and every other Act it thereunto enabling the Hutt County Council hereby resolves so that thi3 Resolution may :be confirmed at a subsequent Meeting of the Council In the manner of a Special Order that Bylaw No. 14 relating to Fire Prevention made on July 24, 1936, be amended by the inclusion of the following additional clause: "GORSE, ETC., FIRE PREVENTION." If any broom, gorse, bushes, scrub, dry grass, or other like growth on any land ehall become or, be likely to become by reason of Its overgrowth a source of danger from fire, and notice in writing to that effect shall be given by the County Clerk to the owner or occupier of such land requiring him to cut down and remove or eradicate such broom, gorse, bushes, scrub, dry grass, or other like growth within a time therein limited any such owner or occupier making default in complying with such notice shall be guilty of an offence against this Bylaw."
