RICH PRIZES TO BE WON J The -programme for the Wellington Racing Club's Slimmer Meeting, which is to ibe staged at Trentham on Jan-1 vary 20, 22,; and 24, has been pub- j lished in attractive booklet form. It discloses that'the club is offering the big figure of £15,350 by way of stakemoney over the three days. | The chief race on the opening day, is the Wellington Cup, which will have attached, to it'a stake of £3500, inclusive of a trophy in the form of a ! gold cup valued at £150. The distance of the event has been increased to *two miles, and the stake and distance are now identical with the Auckland Cup on Boxing Day.
