MAN FOUND DEAD
DISCOVERY BY BAKER
Mr. Edward Orr Hurley, an elderly man, was found dead in a house at 99 Rongotai Terrace, where he lived alone, on Saturday. The discovery was made by a baker, who found bread delivered on the preceding Tuesday still where he had left it.
Mr. Hurley is believed to be about 79, with no relatives in New Zealand. He had lived in Wellington for 18 years. He was a former Mayor of Palmerston North, and for many years was a barrister in that city.
