PROPAGANDA FOR U.S.A.
CANBERRA, October 30,
A propaganda offensive in the United States is now being planned by the Commonwealth Government.
It will include a broadcast service for which the' Government is erecting a powerful short-wave transmitting station costing £300,000, which will furnish Australian news and commentaries designed to reach listeners in all parts of America.
The Government is also endeavouring to induce major American news agencies and syndicates to have their own representatives in Australia.
