BENEFIT TO DOMINION
When, the Australian cable was referred to him this afternoon, the Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) said that the question of a weekly service following alternate routes—Suva, Auckland, Sydney, Noumea, Suva, and then Suva, Noumea, Sydney, Auckland —had been discussed. ' '
Mr. Fraser added that nothing definite had been decided, but if the arrangement that had been under discussion was introduced it would mean that New Zealand would have the present fortnightly clipper service, plus another service via Noumea and Sydney.
