SWEDES EXPRESS HORROR
LONDON, October 30.
A Swedish newspaper expresses horror at the German killings, and says they do not make for Franco-German collaboration.
Petain and Darlan know that the spilling of innocent blood would not help the Germans to get what they wanted: in France. There also seems to be doubt in Berlin, and it is stated that there has been a cooling off of relations with Vichy.
It is. not now expected that the new German Consul-General will arrive in Vichy on Saturday as arranged.
