QUITO CHARTERED BY JAPAN
(Rec. 2 p.m.) SHANGHAI, Oct. 30. Japanese naval officials said that the former German ship Quito, which has arrived here, has been chartered by the Japanese navy. They declined to specify where she was bound or to explain the presence of Germans aboard her.
