Members of the legal fraternity in Palmerston North, Wellington, and intermediate towns are competing in the annual golf tournament on the Manawatu Club's links. Those to qualify for the chief event were A. M. Hollings (Wellington), F, Christensen (Marton), S. W. Rapley (Manawatu), N. Whiteman (Masterton), S. Wiren (Wellington), L. Sinclair (Manav/atu), P. C. Miles (Feilding), R. J. Carruthers (Pahiatua), P. W. Dorrington (Dannevirke), M. H. Oram (Manawatu), E. W. R. Haldane (Wellington), A. W. Yortt (Manawatu), W. F. Stilwell (Wellington), J. Qraham (Feilding), J. R. E. Bennett (Wellington), and M. B. Bergin (Foxton). The following reached the semi-finals: —Yortt, Christensen, Graham, and Rapley.
