PELTED WITH BAD EGGS
U.S. ISOLATIONIST
DEFENCE OF LINDBERGH RESENTED
(Rec. 12.30 p.m.)
NEW YOKK, September 18,
Senator Burton K. Wheeler, the leading American isolationist, was pelted with bad eggs when he defended Mr. Charles Lindbergh at an America First rally at Billings, Montana. Bobs and catcalls greeted this statement, and rotten eggs were thrown at Senator Wheeler's head. He represents the State of Montana in the Senate. s
