MR. WILLKIE ON U.§. POLICY
WASHINGTON, Sept. 17.
Replying to a recent statement by ex-President Herbert Hoover, Mr. Wendell Willkie declared that American isolationism in the past decade was partly responsible for the war. "Continued efforts to keep the United States out of the councils of Europe and attempts to prevent all-out aid to Britain will eventually rebound against America,"' he said. Mr. Willkie described Mr. Hoover's policy as wholly unrealistic. ,
