AIR FORCE MAN CHARGED

An Air Force mess hand, William Henry Cruickshank', aged 30, appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today, and pleaded guilty to theft of stores valued at over Bs. Detective-Sergeant W. McLennan, who prosecuted, said that the matter was looked upon as serious, as apparently . thefts xrom the: stores at Rongotai were quite prevalent.

Mr. A. B. Sievwright, who appeared for Cruickshank, said that the amount involved was small, and Cruickshank was a married man with a family. His Air Force pay was small and the temptation was strong. By joining the Air Force he had probably dropped a considerable amount of money. .
