PLANE CRASH IN BRAZIL

(Rec. 9 a.m.) RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 19. A Pan-American Airways Brazil j plane, with 13 persons on board, crashed on the Cantareira* Mountains. The plane took off in bad weather from Curitiba for Sao Paulo yesterday. The radio went silent when the machine was within five minutes of Sao Paulo. The passengers included Professor P. C. Jessup, of New York, the inter-nationally-known lawyer and lecturer. The wrecked plane was found this i morning. First reports said that 12, persons were injured.
