CONSPIRACY CASE
PROCEEDINGS DROPPED
SYDNEY, August 16.
The Crown Law Department announces that no further proceedings are to be taken against William Kingsley Wicks, aged 45, accountant, concerning whom the jury failed to agree in the recent protracted conspiracy case in which Bruce Walker and Albert Levitus were convicted and imprisoned.
Wicks has been discharged from custody and reinstated in the Army Instructional Division, from which he was suspended during the trial.
