TO AVOID BOMBINGS
BERLIN OFFICIAL BUILDINGS
ABANDONED
LONDON, August 16.
Because of the severity of the British raids, German officials have abandoned the Ministry buildings in Berlin and installed themselves in flats, in the hope of avoiding the bombings.
The German news agency said: "A tdtal of 298 German civilians were killed by R.A.F. raids on Germany in July, which is certainly a bitter experience, but 500 British were k^ed in July, and that shows who is master in the air. The slightness of the damage done to the German war industries also proves this." ,
