"If I could determine the personnel, a committee to carry out economic stabilisation would be set up tomorrow," said the' Acting" Prime Minister (Mr. Nash) m an interview .last night. Mr... Nash said it" was not proposed to call a further conference on stabilisation questions.
A committee of Government officers had been working for some time on the proposals made last year by the Stabilisation Committee, Mr. Nash said. Any representative stabilisation committee which the Government might set up Would work on the problems associated with giving effect to the report of the conference. It would not be administrative.
