The annual tournament between the Auckland and Wellington Teachers' Training Colleges was concluded oh Satiu'day. The Milnes Bowl, the trophy for the athletic event, was won by Auckland with nine points, Wellington scoring five. Wellington won the boxing by four bouts to three. The Waghorn Cup for debating and the RaeLopdell Cup for drama were both won by Auckland

Perry (Wellington), 9st lib; lightweight, C, McLaren (Auckland). 9st 121b, beat T. H Bailey (Wellington), 9st 111b; welterweight. W Wilson (Wellington), lOst 21b, beat A. Galvin (Auckland), lOst 21b; middleweight. T. Whelan (Wellington), lOst 71b, beat K. White (Auckland). lOst 121b; light-heavyweight, A. Doak (Wellington), lOst 121b. beat A. R Wright (Auckland)., list lib; heavyweight, Wellington won by default.
