INCREASE FORECAST
LARGE NEW PORT FACILITIES
(Rec. 2.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 15. A forecast of an increase oi the impending new 6,000,000,000 dollar Lend and Lease Bill, as a result of the meeting of President Roosevelt and Mr. Churchill, is made by the "New York Times," which expresses . the opinion. that the figure will be raised to: from 7,000,000,000 to 10,000..000,000 dollars. The army has announced the rushing of construction of new port facilities, costing 2,000,000,000 dollars, in New York to expedite the shipment of supplies to Britain.
