LORD BEAVERBROOK
CROSSING OF THE ATLANTIC
LONDON, August 15. The plane in which the Minister of Supply, Lord Beaverbrook, crossed the Atlantic had been intended to accompany the transocean machine which crashed on a hillside on August 10, I when 22 persons were kill3d. Lord Beaverbrook arrived in Washington by plane yesterday. A Washington message states that Lord Beaverbrook told the Press that he had come tb the United States td secure tanks, aeroplanes, and food in quantities as large as the United States could supply.
