WELLINGTON TRAVEL CLUB

Held in the new quarters in the D.I.C. Building, the fifth annual meeting of the Wellington Travel Club was presided over by Mr. T. C. A. Hislop. About 50 members were present. Mr. Hislop congratulated the club upon its progress. There were now over 700 members, he said, and others were waiting to join. Mr. R. H. Nimmo said the club was rendering a great service to the community by giving prominent people passing through Wellington an oppori tunity to speak to the people about other parts of the world. Mr. Hislop was re-elected president. J The vice-presidents were re-elected en : bloc, with the addition of Mr. R. H Nimmo and Mr. J. I. Goldsmith. As nominations for the 12 members of the executive and for the 25 members of the ladies' committee did not exceed the number required, those nominated J were declared electee* '
