QUESTION OF LICENSING'
No special provisions exls: in the transport regulations to meet the case of a soldier who requires his car for only a small part of the registration year. In some cases the car is required for only a few days, but the soldier-owner, if he wants to use it for ihose few days, which might constitute his final leave before going overseas, has to pay the full year's registration fee.
It was learned on inquiry today that any alteration to the regulations to meet special conditions like these would require legislation.
