Speaking in support of War Weapons Week, the First Lord of the Admiralty, Mr. A. V. Alexander, said: "We are demonstrating that where Englishmen have met Germans in battle on equal terms there is no doubt about which was the right man on whom to put one's* money.

"I want more ships, and I want them quickly," said Mr. Alexander, in paying a tribute to the Navy. "I want more guns and more planes and faster ones for the Fleet Air Arm. I want more short-range antiaircraft guns."—B.O.W.
