AMERICAN VESSELS
REPRISAL BY VICHY
(Rec. 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, May 20,
It is reported that the Vichy authorities have prevented two United States vessels which took cargoes of flour from the United States to France from leaving Marseilles on the return journey. The action is believed to be a reprisal for the seizure of French vessels tied up in the United States.— U.P.A.
