FINE AND COOL
FROST AGAIN TONIGHT
Special forecast for Wellington:—
Moderate northerly winds, with fine and cool weather, and a moderate frost tonight.
The further outlook is for northwesterly winds gradually becoming fresh or strong, the weather remaining fine with rising temperatures. The general forecast for the Dominion as a whole is for north-westerly winds gradually becoming fresh or Wong in the far south, but otherwise for the present light to moderate and variable breezes will continue. The weather will be fair to fine with widespread frosts and morning fog, but day temperatures will gradually rise.
Apart from fresh south-westerly winds and showers in' the Auckland Province and in the far south, yesterday's weather was fair or fine. Temperatures were cool and there were hard frosts in many localities. Christchurch had a frost of 14 degrees lasi night and Wellington one of 5 degrees Wellington had 8.4 hours of bright sun shine, with temperatures ranging between 48.3 and 35.'6 degrees.
