MR. W. P. WALSH
The death occurred yesterday of Mr. William Patrick Walsh : of Endeavour Street, Lyall Bay, at the age of 58. Mr. Walsh was an active member of the Wellington Trades and Labour Council and Labour Day Committee for many years until his health failed. He was assistant secretary to the late Mr. W. E. Kennedy, Cooks' and Stewards' Union, for 17 years, and was elected general secretary in 1937. The funeral will leave St. Patrick's Church, Childers Terrace, Kilbirnie, at 2 p.m. tomorrow for the Karori Cemetery.
