MEN ON LEAVE

PLENTY OF HOSPITALITY

A SOLDiER'S KINDLY ACTION

"We'll All Stick Together," the title of that topical song, could ,\tf,ell be taker; as the motto of Webbyfs Club —and not only by the members. All men of the services—Army, Navy, Air Force, and Merchant Navy—are made to feel a part of a big family which patronises .this cheery club at 61 Lower Cuba Street. One member of the Army made a tour of inspection with the club's president Mrs. Webb, and made several suggestions where small carpentering jobs would improve the facilities. During the next day he visited the club and quietly carried out these improvements himself. The crowds at the weekend were as large as ever, and the evenings of dancing passed very pleasantly to music by Doug Roche and his band. A better piano than the one at present in use is needed, and if anyone knows of one that is suitable they are asked to furnish' -the club with details concerning it. A VARIED MENU.
