MIRAMAR AND ONSLOW
Speedy movements by the Miramar backs proved too much for Onslow at the Polo Ground, and there was also superiority in the play of the home team's forwards. It was not until late in the game that Onslow gave a real sample of their capabilities. For Miramar, Slattery, Reidsford, Morgan, and McKnight scored tries, Taylor and Smith each converting one and Taylor also kicking a penalty goal. McKenzie and Langford scored tries for Onslow. Result: Miramar 19, Onslow 6. The referee was Mr. I. Ramsay.
