KILBIRNIE HOSPITAL
The Wellington City Council has advised the Hospital Board that it is unable to agree to grant further land to the board for the purpose of erecting the temporary hospital of 100 beds at Kilbirnie.
The chairman of the building committee, Mr. A. H. Carman, said at the meeting of the board last night that the matter was now in the hands of the Health Department, which was asking the City Council to reconsider the question of giving up this land.
