EYES UPON AMERICA
WASHINGTON, April 5
The Secretary of War. Mr. Stimson. broadcasting during Army Day celebrations on the anniversary of the United States entry into the World War, said: "The eyes of men and women of those nations which have lost their freedom are concentrated on us. Their hope arises with our increasing strength. They take hope in our defence of freedom. They see in our success the dawn of a better day Men of the army of the United States, I salute you as the bearers of this hope of the entire world."
