NORTHLAND HORTICULTURE
The monthly meeting of the Northland Horticultural Society was held at the Methodist schoolroom, Northland, last week. In the absence of the president, Mr. G. S. Nicoll, Mr. T. E. Wilkinson presided over a large attendance of members. Preliminary arrangements were made for the dahlia show on March 8. Mr. A. J. Manton gave an interesting address on the staging of dahlias for exhibition purposes, and exhibited some beautiful specimens to illustrate his remarks. The subject for the next meeting on February 27 will be a talk on "Bulbs' in Season."
