ROBERTS—PAVITT.
The marriage was solemnised at St. John's Church on Tuesday afternoon of Celia Frances, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Pavitt, Boulcott Terrace, Wellington, to Richard Robert son of Mrs. and the late Mr R. M. Roberts, Wellington. The officiating minister was the Rev. Gladstone Hughes.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, carried a sheaf of lilies and wore a turquoise blue frock, large maroon felt hat with veiling to the shoulders, and a pearl necklace, which had been worn by her mother on her wedding day.
' Frock of dusty pink, with navy hat and accessories was worn by the bridesmaid, Miss Ruth Pavitt, whose bouquet was of pik roses and carnations. The best man was Sergeant Pilot V. E. Sutherland, and the usher Mr. Gordon Lauchlan.
At a reception, held at the Boronia Lounge, the guests were received by Mrs. Pavitt, who wore a tailored costume of petrel green with black hat and a fox fur, and Mrs. Roberts wearing a navy coat with figured frock and hat to tone.
Mrs. R. R. Roberts's travelling ensemble was of teal blue, with plum coloured accessories.
