William Mcßeynolds, a ship's fireman, aged 32 (Mr. R. Hardie Boys), has been sentenced by Mr. Justice Johnston to eighteen months' hard labour to be followed by eighteen months' reformative detention, for breaking and entering with intent to commit theft. The sentences are concurrent with similar sentences imposed on Mcßeynolds when he pleaded guilty to having offensive instruments in his possession with intent to break and enter a building. Patrick Lynch, a ship's fireman, aged 32 ; (Mr. G. C. Kent), jointly charged with Mcßeynolds, was found not guilty, and also not guilty of being a party to McReynolds in the possession of instruments.
