SPEEDING TAXIS
The practice of some taxi-drivers in exceeding the speed limit was the subject of comment at the Lower Hutt Court yesterday, when heavy penalties were inflicted by Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M.
Peter McClinchey was fined £7 10s, Arthur J. Paterson, £6, Richard Herbert Gestro and William J. Harding each £3, and Egerton Officer £2 10s.
.^At the same Court, fop the theft of timber, Richard Bryan was fined £2.
