LATE PTE. J. H. P. CALSON
Private James Henry Powell Calson, whose death on active service was reported recently, was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Calson, 19 Boston Terrace, Wellington. He was aged 27. and was educated at the Terrace School and Wellington College, which he attended for six years. During his youth he belonged to the Collingwood Sea Scouts. He was a member of the Scottish Harriers and of the Pipes and Drums Band of the Wellington Regiment, of which he was secretary up to the time of his going overseas. Before enlisting he was employed by the Wellington Harbour Board.
