HOME GUARD OFFICERS
INTENSIVE COURSE
INSTRUCTION AT FOXTON
Some sixty officers and n.c.o.s of the Home Guard units in the Central Military District will assemble at the Central District School of Instruction, Foxton, on Saturday next to undergo a six-day course. They will carry out a syllabus aimed at assisting them in the instruction of their units on thenreturn to home stations. The course will deal primarily with field craft, section leading, minor tactics, map work, reconnaissance reports, siting )f trenches, andVsdi;on. r instruction will also begiven"•ndriii'an'driflLd training.
The officers concerned will enter camp in civilian clothes, but for the training period will be issued with denim uniforms, hats, and rifles.
