BODY FOUND IN RIVER
MAN AT WANGANUI

WANGANUI, January 10,
The body of an elderly man was found floating in the Wanganui River yesterday morning about 150 yards below the Aramoho railway bridge, on the Wanganui East side.
The man was identified as George Prince, married, aged 62, Westmere.
For the past ten weeks Mr. Prince had been staying with his sister, Mrs. J. E. White, Campbell Street. He had been in indifferent health for some time. On Monday he left his sister's house early in the morning, but returned late; that night, stating that he had been out to Westmere. He left again about 8 o'clock the following morning and was not seen again.
