HOLIDAY RAGING CARNIVAL
THE NEW YEAR'S DAY MEETINGS
WAIRARAPA AND MARTON OFFER GOOD FARE
The closing stages of the holiday racing carnival will be enterad upon tomorrow, when there will be fixtures in most quarters of &c. Dominion. The Wairarapa, Marton, Stratford, Hawke's Bay, ?nd-Greymoutii Meetings will be opened, the Auckland Meeting will be continued, and one-day fixtures will be held at Waikouaiti and Wyndhaxn. The only trotting will be the opening of the Canterbury Park Meeting at Addington. On Thursday there will be racing at Wairarapa, Marton, Stratford, Hawke's Bay, Auckland, Greymouth, and Canterbury Park again, and, in addition, at Oamaru and Southland. Of main interest to Wellington racegoers will be the meetings at Wairarapa and Marton, both of which are within comfortable range of the city.
