GOODS THROUGH EIRE
GERMAN WARNING
ZONE IN BLOCKADE AREA
(Received December 30, 1 p.m.)
LONDON, December 29
The Berlin radio says that the "Borsen Zeitung" warns the United States against attempting to send goods to Britain through Eire. The newspaper alleged that the United States is considering revision of the Neutrality Act for the purpose of excluding Eire from the war zone. It is stated that Eire is still within Germany's blockade area. "Whoever enters this zone," the paper says, "does so at the risk of exposing ships and crews to military operations. The Irish people must decide whether they want to be involved in the war."
