ACCIDENTAL BOMBING
COMPENSATION TO SWEDEN
LONDON, December 27.
Britain has apologised to Sweden and promised compensation for bombs dropped accidentally in the Swedish port of Helsingborg
On October 29 a plane was caught in a searchlight on the Danish coast and flew in the direction of Helsingborg. A flare was dropped, followed by three high-explosive bombs, which exploded in the water 100 yards from the shore.
