TWO BOMBS ON DUBLIN

LONDON, December 20.

An official statement issued by the Government Information Bureau at Dublin on Friday states that about 7.30 on Friday night an unidentified aeroplane flew over Dublin.

Two bombs were dropped. One caused a large crater in the road about 100 yards from the Sandy Cove railway station. Slight damage was done to some houses and a number of windows were broken. One person was injured.

The second bomb fell in the back garden of a house but did no serious damage.

At 8 p.m., at Neil Shantonach, near the Carrick market cross (Monaghan) an unidentified plane dropped bombs. One exploded near a farmer's house, slightly injuring the owner.
