MENINGITIS EPIDEMIC

DARWIN, December 22,
An epidemic of meningitis, of which 22 cases have been notified, with a few fatal, has caused a scare among ai-my workers, who are seeking in large numbers to leave the district. They are. rushing to book passages by ships and aeroplanes back to their homes in the south.
